More about the car:
Built my post-war traditional hot rod in my home garage just as Rodder’s would have done in the late – 1940’s. The original ‘32 roadster body has the rumble seat converted to a trunk. The cowl lights are filled, original ‘32 commercial headlights are fitted as is an original ‘40 Ford steering wheel flanked by original Stewart Warner wing gauges. The windshield has been chopped three inches and Paul Reichlin, Cedardale Upholstery, did the top. It is fitted with a ‘46 Mercury 276cid Flathead V-8 with Ross forged pistons, ‘49 Mercury crankshaft, Isky 400 Jr. cam, original Navarro heads and Edelbrock Letter Regular 2×2 intake with Stromberg 97’s – mated to a ‘39 transmission and ‘34 rearend with 3.54 gears. The original ‘32 frame is employed using original ‘39 Lincoln front brakes, ‘46 Ford rear brakes, ‘40 60HP (16×3.50) front wheels with Firestone Deluxe Champion 5.50×16 tires, ‘41 Mercury (16×5) rear wheels with Firestone Deluxe Champion 7.50×16 tires topped with original ‘40 Mercury wheel covers.

About the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month Contest
The Hot Rod of the Month Contest is a special opportunity available only to Foundation Members. Active Members have a two-week period EACH MONTH in which to enter a car they own by providing photos and a description of their car. During the following two-week period, all Members, whether they have entered a car or not, can individually vote for their favorite car.
The car with the most Member votes at the end of each month will be the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month and will be featured on the AHRF website and on social networks.
At the end of each calendar year, the Advisory Board of the Foundation will select one car, as the AHRF Hot Rod of the Year, from that year’s Hot Rod of the Month winners. The Hot Rod of the Year will be given special publicity, and the car will be maintained in an ongoing catalog of AHRF Hot Rod of the Year winners.
