Additional Details
Original Ford 1929 Roadster on an original Model A frame. Chopped 4″ windshield and lowered 31 coupe seat. 1940 Steering wheel with 1948 F1 steering. 1932 Dash with Stewart Warner wings gauges. 1940s Aircraft seat belts. Engine: 1941 Flathead with Edmunds 2×2 intake and dual 97s. Trans: 1939 Ford 3 Speed top loader attached to a 1940 Banjo with 2:78 gears. Juice brakes all around with F1 master cylinder. Houdaille shocks with drilled arms. Fuel Cell and battery relocated to trunk. The car was built ground up by myself in my SoCal 1925 garage using many of the old-school techniques and styling. Driving this car is an instant flashback to the early days of Hot Rodding from the smell of the gas and the sounds of the growling flathead to the body rattling. I built this car as a tribute to those early days. It’s a true dream come true to drive it and always puts a smile on anyone who sees it.

About the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month Contest
The Hot Rod of the Month Contest is a special opportunity available only to Foundation Members. Active Members have a two-week period EACH MONTH in which to enter a car they own by providing photos and a description of their car. During the following two-week period, all Members, whether they have entered a car or not, can individually vote for their favorite car.
The car with the most Member votes at the end of each month will be the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month and will be featured on the AHRF website and on social networks.
At the end of each calendar year, the Advisory Board of the Foundation will select one car, as the AHRF Hot Rod of the Year, from that year’s Hot Rod of the Month winners. The Hot Rod of the Year will be given special publicity, and the car will be maintained in an ongoing catalog of AHRF Hot Rod of the Year winners.
