More about the car:
I started building this car with my grandpa immediately after graduating High School. Aside from the upholstery (done by my cousin), the machine work on the engine (we handled assembly) and mounting the tires, the two of us did everything on this car in a 2 car garage. Including (but not limited to) making the quarters, deck lid, and the two panels above and below the deck lid from scratch. Doing all rust repair on the original cowl and doors. Kicking the frame up in the rear three inches and all other frame fabrication. Plus a lot of hours getting it all ready for paint. And sorting all the mechanicals. The two of us have thousands of hours of labor in this car together in his garage. There are a lot of custom fabricated parts on this car that we came up with and made ourselves. I finally started driving it at the age of 23 and now 6 years later I’m still completely hooked on traditional hot rods thanks to all the time spent with my grandpa.
