More about the car:
It all started almost 20 years ago, after my arrival in Canada. the idea of building a Nostalgic rod. It was done with a Roadster 31 that would make the cover of the Sanderson Headers catalog. While collecting parts for the 31, many parts were collected, a Columbia differential, a Stewart Warner dashboard, Flatheads, etc … The dream of a 32 roadster had been with me since my adolescence, but the grail is difficult to achieve. Luck smiled on me fifteen years ago when a friend offered me this roadster which is an old Hot Rod from Quebec from the 60s, hence the traces of blue, red, green paint that I wanted to keep as a testimony of a past. The new hunt for original 32 parts and nice vintage ones can then begin. In 2015, I attended with a friend, a Mentor I should say, the TROG and the revelation happened, “I want a machine like Scott Mc Cann from Deluxe Speed Shop and race with it!”. The same year, i catched a Mullins Trailer, it will be the perfect addition and wonderfull tool box for #254. 10 years of patience to realize this double dream, finish the Roadster and make the TROG in 2024.
About the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month Contest
The Hot Rod of the Month Contest is a special opportunity available only to Foundation Members. Active Members have a two-week period EACH MONTH in which to enter a car they own by providing photos and a description of their car. During the following two-week period, all Members, whether they have entered a car or not, can individually vote for their favorite car.
The car with the most Member votes at the end of each month will be the AHRF Hot Rod of the Month and will be featured on the AHRF website and on social networks.
At the end of each calendar year, the Advisory Board of the Foundation will select one car, as the AHRF Hot Rod of the Year, from that year’s Hot Rod of the Month winners. The Hot Rod of the Year will be given special publicity, and the car will be maintained in an ongoing catalog of AHRF Hot Rod of the Year winners.
