At a early age J.C. Henning was a regular attendant at Balboa Stadium. His love of midget car racing combined with his artistic skills led him to a successful career as illustrator and car model designer.
Through his colorful career Henning has worked for Rod and Custom, Motor life, ran the Bakersfield Speedway, designed the Ford Custom Caravan exhibition, got fired for stealing Lee Iacocca’s girlfriend, designed logos and run TV stations. And pretty much everything else in between.
He is considered one of the top model kit car designers in the world.
