Marty Cairo is an East Coast hot rodder that got into fast cars and motorcycles at an early age after hanging out at his father’s body shop in 1950s Norwalk, Connecticut. His first car was a chopped and channeled ‘32 Ford pickup that he pieced together after having started with just the chassis. His journey through the hobby involved east coast style customs as well and included a ‘50 Chevy and ‘51 Mercury. Approaching 80 and still going strong, Marty Cairo can still be found in his garage, building cars and being the hot rodder that he’s always been.
